An improvised set performed in 2022 by the duo Udo Schindler and Korhan Erel at BASIS Sound Space in Munich. The duo has been playing since 2016 and have already released two albums in 2018, Leben|Nebel as a duo on Creative Sources and "Sound Energy Transformation" on FMR with trombonist Sebi Tramontana.

BASIS_Sound_Space (BASIS Booksalon at MUCCA)
– Basis means basic in English.
A new sound space for contemporary, experimental and improvised music is introduced at MUCCA. It can be seen as a successor project to the Salon für Klang+Kunst, which gave up after the 99th event due to corona.
The performances are co-sponsored and supported by the dasvinzenz theatre. The acoustically performed space is the book estate of the legendary left-wing former bookshop with antiquarian bookshop in Munich, the Basis-Buchhandlung. Founded in 1972, the bookshop on Adalbertstraße in Munich was a focal point for critical minds for almost 40 years and an intellectual staple for many, including me. The institution, as such it was to be called, had to close about ten years ago. The recorded space with the leftover books is an adequate shell for the unadjusted improvised sounds we create there.

BASIS_Klangraum (BASIS-Buchsalon im MUCCA)
Ein neuer Klangraum für zeitgenössische, experimentelle und improvisierte Musik wird im MUCCA eingeführt. Er kann als Nachfolgeprojekt des Salons für Klang+Kunst betrachtet werden, welcher nach der 99. Veranstaltung coronabedingt aufgab. Die Performances werden vom Theater dasvinzenz mitgetragen und unterstützt. Der akustisch bespielte Raum ist der Bücher-Nachlass der in München legendären linksorientierten ehemaligen Buchhandlung mit Antiquariat, der Basis-Buchhandlung. Die 1972 gegründete Buchhandlung in der Adalbertstraße in München war fast 40 Jahre lang eine Anlaufstelle kritischer Geister und für viele eine intellektuelle Grundnahrung, so auch für mich. Die Institution, als solche war sie zu bezeichnen, musste vor ca. zehn Jahren schließen.
Der bespielte Raum mit den Bücherrestbeständen ist eine adäquate Hülle für die unangepassten improvisierten Klänge, die wir dort kreieren.
